MICHAEL BOSSCHER: CORPORATE COUNSEL AND CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD.

Michael obtained a Bachelor of Law (LLB Honours) from the Queensland University. He is the Senior Partner of Michael Bosscher and Partners which has over 30 Lawyers and a further 38 support staff.

Michael specialises in Criminal and Commercial law and has conducted many High profile Queensland trials. He is well respected and often is called to NSW and Victoria to run court proceedings.

Michael is the Founder and Director of Flaik Global Positioning System, a SKI GPS tracking system, a American based software/Manufacturing company that manufactures and distributes GPS systems for Skiing, Bike riding and mountain walking.

Michael’s skills in organisation and business management, coupled with his legal expertise are an asset to TCL moving forward.

MARK BRIGDEN: DIRECTOR

Mark obtained a MBA Business management through Southern Cross university as well as a diploma in Commerce (with distinction).

Mark commenced work with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in 1991 and went on to become “Manager Commercial Services” Commonwealth Bank Group, a position he held until 2004.

He joined Asia Pacific Limited as a director personally raising $50Million from investors. He left in 2006.

Mark then joined Life Settlements Funds Limited as Head of Marketing and Global Distribution raising over $1.5B of Institutional investors. He still holds this position. Mark is a creative and strategically focused marketing professional skilled in assessing the big picture, then developing, communicating and implementing plans and actions. While quietly spoken, is a dynamic achiever focussed on delivering results and maintaining high standards. An innovative motivator, driven by solid values and a high need for achievement and who inspires commitment and performance, by working with team members to establish clear and challenging expectations. A leader with proven ability to build and utilise productive relationships at all levels both within and outside the organisation.

GLENN A THOMPSON: DIRECTOR

Glenn is a computer programmer and during the period, 1982 to 2000, wrote a number of computer programs including a legal industry practice management and Trust Accounting software package that became widely used within Australia. The business and the IP in the software were sold to a major software developer in 2000.

Glenn has always been an inventor and innovator. Several years ago, Glenn needed to consider constant velocity joints and found that the existing ones were lacking. Having an understanding of the geometric requirements of a constant velocity joint, Glenn then mentally constructed the geometry of a constant velocity joint using the six leg great circle route or spherical pantograph as a centering mechanism. By giving the geometry a body of steel, the Thompson Constant Velocity Joint was born.

PETER FREUND: DIRECTOR

Peter has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is Fellow and Certified Practioner (Management) of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).

In his more than 40 year career he has worked in executive management positions, firstly with the then BHP Steel Group and subsequently in heavy industry construction, minerals processing, mining and metallurgical industries both in Australia and South America.

Peter has been involved in equity and debt financing, working with international Government export/import finance agencies and foreign banks to develop major projects both in Australia and foreign jurisdictions. This has built relevant experience which Peter brings now brings to the TCL Board including product and process development, commercialization of new technology, international market development and establishment and management of international Joint Ventures and business partnering arrangements.

He joined the TCL Board at the end of 2014 after stepping out of his last executive role and currently continues to serve as a non-executive director on the Board of a junior mining company developing projects in Brazil and performs various consulting assignments to heavy industry and infrastructure developers which exposes him to a wide range of customers and potential customers for Thompson Coupling products.
